Ohio Arts Education Data Project

OHIO ARTS EDUCATION DATA PROJECT Online arts education data system now available to the public! The Ohio Alliance for Arts Education is proud to announce the launch of the Ohio Arts Education Data Project. This unique arts education data system will put 'real time' arts education information in the hands parents, students, educators, and arts education advocates around the state. The Ohio Arts Education Data Project is one of the first in the nation, and is the result of the partnership between OAAE, the Ohio Arts Council, the Ohio Department of Education, and Quadrant Research. The information on school-level, district, county, and statewide data can be viewed on the Ohio Arts Education Data Dashboard.  It is the mission of the Ohio Alliance for Arts Education to ensure that the arts are an integral part of the education of every Ohioan. We believe that: ·  All children in school must have quality arts education provided by licensed arts educators ·  All Ohioans have the right to expect quality arts education ·  All arts programs must have adequate resources ·  All arts and cultural organizations and artists have a critical role in arts education Arts On Line keeps arts education advocates informed about issues dealing with the arts, education, policy, research, and opportunities.  The distribution of this information is made possible through the generous support of the Ohio Music Education Association, Ohio Art Education Association, Ohio Educational Theatre Association; OhioDance, and the Ohio Arts Council. This update is written weekly by Andrea Kruse, OAAE's Research and Information Coordinator.     Past issues of Arts On Line are available on our website.
