Host an event that brings school, parents and PTA together
such as a presentation about the state standardized tests. Find out what information parents are seeking
and offer a program to match at your own building or in conjunction with other
units in a larger location in the district such as a high school
auditorium. It may be drug and alcohol
awareness or college readiness. There is
always something the parents would like to stay informed about. Be sure to advertise that the PTA hosted this
program and encourage people to join before and after the event.
