Mini-Grant for Units/Councils (DEADLINE EXTENDED UNTIL 11/23/20)


 


Dear local PTA leader,

 

The Ohio PTA From Report to Results committee is funding a mini-grant open to all PTA units, councils, and other interested groups in Ohio. The grant would provide a one-year Zoom Pro subscription ($150) to any group that commits to hosting a public town hall meeting with the school or local officials by November 23, 2020, and reporting back the meeting results. We have funding to provide fifty (50) of these grants this fall.

 

This grant aims to encourage local communication with school officials, and you may cover as many and as wide a variety of topics as you like. As the focus of the From Report to Results committee is on school report cards, data collection, and using that data to promote student equity, we do ask that at some point you touch on these topics with your local administrators and officials.

 

If you would like to receive this grant, please contact the From Report to Results Committee at advocacy@ohiopta.org.  Upon grant approval, we request that you let us know your town hall meeting’s time and the date and send us a concise summary of the meetings’ attendance, topics discussed, and any feedback collected within ten days of the meeting's completion.
