Best practices shared for your Thanksgiving Travel

This article was provided by The Ohio Turnpike & Infrastructure Commission.

For Thanksgiving, our goal is to meet the needs of holiday travelers at our 14 Service Plazas while keeping the health and safety of our customers and employees our top priority. All Service Plazas are open and there are currently no restrictions in effect but our CDC-sanitization protocols remain in effect.Tips for a Safe Road Trip  Plan your route ahead on the Ohio Turnpike by noting the locations of our Service Plazas and exploring the various concessions and amenities at THIS LINK.

What to pack?Don’t forget the hand sanitizer, masks, disinfecting wipes and other items that you would normally carry for winter as seen in the graphic below.

Food and retail services remain available throughout the holiday travel days although staffing is sometimes limited due to the national worker shortage.Customers may encounter longer wait times and less options than usual during the holiday period. We appreciate your patience and remind everyone to be polite to those staff who are working to serve Ohio’s travelers throughout the holiday season.
